WHAT FLIPS YOU OFF?

I believe in the power of art to promote healing and social change and my mantra, to express is to heal, has fueled FLIP, a pop-art-infused call to action, that brings communities together, sparks dialogue and fosters understanding to promote healing and positive change.

FLIP is a participatory art installation where participants anonymously draw on copies of an extraction of the original work F-U Red Blue. Individuals mount their FLIP on the wall which quickly fills with everyone’s individual piece, generating a wall of community expression. I have collected over 1,000 FLIPs through 8 different activations which are now a part of a larger body of work that acts as a time capsule since 2016. It documents our culture through the lens of freedom of expression.
